Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy evaluation and treatment services in an adult outpatient setting
- Deliver specialized hand and upper extremity therapy as indicated by patient needs
- Document patient progress and treatment plans using electronic health record systems
- Float to alternate facilities as needed when assignment and qualifications align
- Participate in required orientation modules and annual compliance training prior to and during assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) License — must be in hand at time of submittal
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Teaching hospital experience required
- Two professional references from most recent employer required at time of submittal
- Complete and accurate employment history, including all prior experience at any University of California medical facilities or affiliated facilities
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential or AOTA Hand/Upper Extremity certification
- Master's degree (MS or MA) in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Minimum 3 years of occupational therapy experience, with hand clinic and adult outpatient experience preferred
