Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language pathology services to patients in accordance with facility protocols and care standards
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Be available to float between nearby sister facilities as needed per assignment requirements
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Valid state license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals accepted at a different rate)
- Must provide 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
- Must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility (location and dates) at time of submission
- No background hits accepted per facility policy
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a travel or contract therapy setting
- Familiarity with holiday and flexible scheduling requirements in a clinical environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to new facility workflows and interdisciplinary teams
