Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:00–15:00) | Rotating Weekends Approximately Every 3–4 Weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services within a short-term acute care setting, including a Level III Trauma Center
- Float between units as needed to support patient care across the facility
- Manage a caseload with expected patient ratios of approximately 8–9 to 1
- Document patient care and progress using Epic electronic health records
- Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver quality patient outcomes
- Participate in rotating holiday coverage, with an expectation to work 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Required Qualifications
- Valid Washington State Occupational Therapist license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience required
- Acute care experience required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals accepted at a different rate)
- Must be available for rotating weekend shifts approximately every 3–4 weeks
- 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Inpatient rehabilitation (IPR) experience is a plus
- Experience working in a trauma center or similarly fast-paced acute care environment
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
