Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an intermediate care / stepdown unit setting during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry and critical care-level observation
- Document patient care activities and clinical findings using Epic electronic health records
- Float within scope of practice to other units or sister facilities as needed to meet staffing demands (up to 75 miles)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Critical Care or Telemetry nursing
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Must live more than 75 miles from the contracted facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown unit environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms
- Comfort with floating to varied units and adapting quickly to new clinical environments
