Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning across an inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) and acute care hospital setting
• Manage a patient caseload of approximately 4 patients per day on the IRF unit and 8–12 patients per day in acute care
• Participate in team conferences and provide family training as part of the care continuum
• Utilize adaptive devices and specialized equipment including therapy gyms, Vector, LiteGait, and an ADL Apartment
• Document patient care using the facility's EMR system (Meditech)
• Maintain active PT license and active BLS certification throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active state Physical Therapist (PT) license
• Active BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Willingness and ability to work on an IRF unit
• Strong critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills
• Expected to work every other weekend and holidays on a rotating basis in accordance with facility policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior hospital and/or inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) experience (highly preferred)
• Stroke and/or neurological rehabilitation experience
• Flexible, collaborative team player comfortable working across multiple units within a large facility
