Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 4W Cardiac unit with float coverage to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units, maintaining a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio on nights
• Manage and titrate drips including analgesics, anticoagulants, and antihypertensives per physician orders and unit protocols
• Care for patients presenting with diagnoses such as CHF, hypertension, chest pain, COPD exacerbations, pneumonia, pancreatitis, bowel obstructions, gastrointestinal bleeding, and acute renal failure
• Monitor and co-sign telemetry strips in collaboration with 24/7 telemetry technicians
• Support post-cath lab patients and manage cardiac drip therapy as part of routine unit care
• Operate and monitor respiratory equipment including CPAP, HFNC, and non-rebreather masks (NRB)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of Colorado (or compact eligibility)
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Experience with cardiac drips and post-cath lab patient care
• Ability and competency to titrate drips independently
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; valid driver's license must be submitted
• Clinicians must be present in-state for the full week of orientation, even if initial modules are conducted remotely

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a cardiac, telemetry, or medical-surgical acute care setting
• Familiarity with telemetry strip interpretation and co-signing workflows
• Experience floating across Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units
