Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care for patients presenting with conditions including HTN, Diabetes, Congestive Heart Failure, End Stage Renal Disease, Coronary Artery Disease, Abdominal Pain, STEMI/NSTEMI, Pulmonary Embolism, COPD, and Behavioral Health
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care in a fast-paced emergency room environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely and effective patient interventions
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
• Adhere to all unit policies including holiday coverage expectations; travelers are expected to work major holidays that fall within their assignment period

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Full compliance with all onboarding requirements must be completed prior to start date; non-compliance may result in a two-week start date delay
• All RTO must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests will be accepted post-offer or onsite, including during orientation week
• Maximum of 7 days RTO per contract; holiday RTO restrictions apply based on the number of major holidays falling within the assignment period
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with high-acuity emergency presentations including cardiac and pulmonary emergencies
• Familiarity with behavioral health patient populations in an emergency setting
• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed, though first-time travelers are accepted
