Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient goals and physician direction, utilizing 60-minute evaluation and treatment sessions
• Complete thorough and timely medical record documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
• Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities
• Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill continuing education obligations
• Actively engage in professional development and contribute to organizational performance improvement initiatives through staff meetings, focus groups, and direct feedback

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist licensure in good standing in the state of Florida
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans
• Proficiency in clinical documentation in compliance with state, federal, and insurance guidelines
• Commitment to patient and employee safety standards and safe patient handling practices
• Adherence to discipline-specific professional code of conduct and ethical standards

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
• Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students
• Familiarity with functional quality indicators and performance improvement methodologies
