Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical units serving ortho, surgical, stroke, cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, and hospice patient populations
• Manage a patient assignment within a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio, adjusted based on acuity
• Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Float between two Medical Surgical units (5th and 6th floor) as needed
• Wear required Royal Blue scrubs in accordance with unit dress code

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Missouri or a compact state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Ability and willingness to float between Med Surg units as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Background in telemetry, cardiac, or stroke patient care
• Familiarity with ortho and/or surgical patient populations
