Description
Title: CT Technologist
Location: Syracuse, NY
Duration:13 weeks
Shift: Day shift – 5x8-hour shifts
Options: 07:00–15:00 or 11:00–19:00
(No block scheduling)
Job Responsibilities:
Perform CT imaging examinations according to established protocols.
Operate Siemens CT scanners efficiently and safely.
Support imaging needs in an acute care environment, including Level I and Level II trauma settings.
Ensure accurate patient positioning, radiation safety compliance, and image quality.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide high-quality patient care.
May be required to float to other radiology areas as needed.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2 years of CT experience (required for submission).
Education: A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
Licensure/Certifications:
ARRT (CT)
BLS
Active NY state license (required at submission)
Required Skills:
CT imaging in high-acuity environments
Operation of Siemens CT systems
Trauma imaging (Level II required; Level I preferred)
IV placement and contrast administration
Telemetry strip reading
Workflow efficiency in a fast-paced diagnostic environment
