Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join a busy Special Procedures department within a large acute care hospital. This unit provides comprehensive care before, during, and after invasive cardiovascular and vascular procedures.

The ideal candidate is comfortable managing high-acuity cardiac patients and supporting complex interventional procedures.

Schedule

• 4x10 Hour Rotating Shifts
• 40 hours guaranteed weekly
• 13-week assignment
• ASAP start
• Limited RTO (maximum of 3 days)

Department Scope

This department provides care for:

• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
• Structural heart procedures
• Cardiac rhythm management procedures
• Device implantation and lead removal
• Arterial and venous vascular interventions
• Therapeutic ablations

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedural nursing care
• Monitor hemodynamics and cardiac rhythms
• Administer and titrate cardiac medications
• Assist physicians during invasive procedures
• Provide patient education and discharge planning
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS required
• Recent Cath Lab experience required
• Strong cardiac medication and rhythm interpretation skills
