Position Overview

Adventist Health White Memorial is seeking experienced ER Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 12-hour day shift assignment in the emergency department. This is a float pool position, allowing nurses to provide care across various ER units as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and compassionate care to patients in the emergency department
• Float across units within the ER to meet patient care needs
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and support staff to manage patient flow
• Accurately document patient information and maintain compliance with hospital policies
• Respond effectively in emergency situations and critical care scenarios

Requirements

• Licensure & Certifications:
  • California RN License
  • AHA BLS Certification (required)
  • AHA ACLS Certification (required)
  • Hospital Fire and Life Safety Card
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of ER nursing experience, with recent experience in the specialty within the last 3 months

Assignment Details

• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (07:00 AM – 07:30 PM)
• Hours: 36–48 hours/week depending on scheduling
• Positions: 3 RN openings
• Float Pool: Yes, coverage across ER units as needed
