Unit Information:  A 4 West Adult Med Surg

General Information:

Number of Beds - 34
EMR - Cerner

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

Telemetry rhythm capabilities,  critical thinking, time management, able to assess med surg level patients and alert Charge RN / Manager / Rapid Response / Provider when acuity level changes.
Good communication. On time for work shifts.
Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

ACLS

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

Iv fluids, tube feeds, peg feedings, Iv antibiotics,  

Best personality Fit:

Team player. Nurses should be willing to help CNAs and other nurses
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

Active RN license to practice in state. 

BLS
Floating Area(s):

Other med surg units, occasionally, in the holding Pod of ED
 

Weekends and On call(if any)

Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts a pay period.
