Travel RN – Operating Room | 5x8 Days | Advanced Surgical Exposure
If you’re an experienced OR nurse looking to work in a high-level surgical environment with complex cases and advanced technology, this role offers strong clinical exposure across multiple specialties.
Job Overview
Specialty: OR RN
Schedule: 5x8s (Day Shift)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (variable start times)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Setting: Acute Care Hospital (Main OR)
Responsibilities
- Circulate and/or scrub in a wide range of surgical procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile field
- Assist surgical teams during complex cases
- Monitor patient status throughout perioperative process
- Ensure adherence to safety and infection control standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams
Requirements
- Active RN license
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience
- Strong experience across multiple specialties (neuro, ortho, general preferred)
