Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry or step-down experience in a hospital setting
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, cardiac drips, and EKG interpretation
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills
• Ability to work within a team and adapt to changing priorities
• Flexibility to float within scope to meet facility needs

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Epic or similar electronic charting systems
• Previous experience in a Level I trauma or teaching hospital
• Additional certifications related to advanced cardiac life support or critical care

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Current valid RN license in the state of practice
• Experience in a fast-paced acute care environment, ideally within a magnet or teaching hospital setting
• Prior travel or contract nursing experience is advantageous but not mandatory

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start within 3-4 weeks of the offer
• Scheduled for night shifts (3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Willing to work every other weekend
• Valid state license at the time of application; license in hand preferred
• No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO) per 13-week contract, with RTO requests submitted at sign-up
• Must pass a fit test and complete required modules within designated timeframes
• Travel and parking logistics provided, with orientation details shared before the start date
