🩺 Unit Overview

34-bed Adult Med-Surg/Telemetry (A4 West)
Patient Ratios:
- Days: 1:4–6
- Nights: 1:5–7
EMR: Cerner
Strong team support with Charge RN, CNAs, and HUC

👩‍⚕️ Key Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms
Provide care for med-surg and trauma patients
Administer IV fluids, antibiotics, tube/PEG feedings
Identify changes in patient condition and escalate care appropriately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes

🎯 Ideal Candidate

🏥 2+ years RN experience (Telemetry/Med-Surg required)
❤️ Strong telemetry interpretation skills
⚡ Excellent critical thinking & time management
🤝 Team player with strong communication skills

📌 Requirements

BLS from AHA – Required
ACLS – Preferred
Comfortable floating to other Med-Surg units

🗓️ Schedule Details

Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Every other weekend required
13-week assignment

📍 Local candidates are not eligible (must reside 50+ miles from facility)
