Position Overview
Merrimack Health Lawrence Hospital is seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses for a high-acuity, fast-paced ED setting. This assignment requires strong clinical skills across all patient populations, including adult and pediatric emergency care due to increasing pediatric volume.
Candidates must be comfortable managing a wide range of emergency cases in a busy community hospital environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department
- Triage and stabilize patients across all acuity levels
- Manage adult and pediatric emergency cases
- Perform rapid assessment, intervention, and stabilization
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary ED team
- Administer emergency medications and treatments
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN License (Required prior to start)
- Minimum 2 Years Recent Emergency Department Experience
- Prior Travel Nursing Experience Required
- Must be comfortable caring for pediatric patients in ED setting
Required Certifications
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- PALS (AHA)
- TNCC
All certifications must be completed and in hand prior to start date. No exceptions.
Schedule & Compensation Notes
- 12-hour night shifts
- 48-hour guaranteed contract
- Local and travel candidates accepted
- Local candidates within 50 miles will be paid local rate
Submission Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Certifications
- Minimum 2 Years ED Experience
- Travel Nursing Experience Required
- Skills Checklist (Emergency Department, current within 1 year)
- One Supervisory Reference (within last 2 years)
- Complete 7-Year Work History
- Permanent Address Required
- Interview Availability Required at Submission
