• Facility: Dignity Health - Dominican Hospital
• Location: Santa Cruz, CA (Near San Jose, CA)
• Position: CT Technologist (Lead / Charge Capable)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Standard)
• Target Start Date: 07/20/2026
• Hours: 40 hours per week (Guaranteed)
• Shift: Days (Flexible; must be aware that Evening hours carry the highest department volume).

Job Description & Unit Details

Join a community-focused imaging department equipped with 2 active scanners. Because the on-site Radiologist is not 24/7 (the facility transitions to Nighthawk teleradiology for overnight coverage), this role requires strong clinical leadership and the ability to work seamlessly alongside Hospitalists and Intensivists.

• Department Volume: 2 Scanners (Siemens Sensation 64 & GE 16 Light Speed).
• Patient Ratios: Average of 10–20 scans per shift depending on final scheduling.
• Common Cases: High volume of ER patients, Virtual Colonography, and specialized Gated procedures alongside general CT diagnostics.
• Charting & PACS: Cerner EMR and McKesson PACS.
• Floating: May be required to float across general Radiology areas if needed.
• Orientation: Comprehensive floor-specific orientation spanning 3–4 shifts.

Requirements

Leadership & Experience

• Leadership Mandate: Strictly Required. Must have proven Management or Charge Tech experience to qualify for this rate tier.
• Clinical Skills: Strong general CT experience with specific exposure to Siemens and GE platforms.

Licensure & Certifications

• State License: Active, clear California State Radiologic Technologist (CRT) and CA CT Imaging License must be in hand at submission.
• Certifications: ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), and active BLS.

Logistics & Commitments

• Holiday Requirement: Holidays follow standard weekend hours; travelers will be worked into the normal department holiday rotation.
• Dress Code: Solid Teal scrubs.
