Description

Position Summary-: The PedsED offers family centered care to those under the age of 19, seeking care for urgent and emergent issues at a Level 1 pediatric trauma and burn center. The unit is comprised of 18 general care beds, 1 critical care bed, 4 urgent care beds and the use of the 7-bed trauma bay which we share with the adult ED. The tertiary care offered at Golisano Children’s Hospital has a complex case mix. From treat and release to acute critical care/trauma the staff are trained to function in a fast paced and challenging environment.

Position Details-:

48 hours per week | 12 hours per day
Day/Eve/Nig Rotating shifts
Overtime available
Weekend required- TBD
On call as per client's needs

Requirements-:

Must have 2 years of Pediatrics ED experience
Burn care experience highly desired
Active New York RN License
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Certified
TNCC, ATCN, ABLS (preferred)

TNCC, ATCN or ABLS preferred.
