Description
Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR)
Location: Brooklyn, New York
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 5x8 Morning
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Current BLS (AHA) Certification
- Current ACLS (AHA) Certification
- Current PALS (AHA) Certification
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique and perioperative nursing practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Serve as the circulating nurse for a variety of surgical specialties.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure patient safety and maintain a sterile surgical environment.
- Accurately document patient care and surgical procedures.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations in the operating room.
