Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Acute Care
Tucson, Arizona
We are seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract in the Tucson, Arizona area. This acute care opportunity offers the chance to work with adult patients while helping them improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence during their recovery.
This is a great fit for a PT who enjoys a hospital-based setting, interdisciplinary collaboration, and helping patients safely transition to their next level of care.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and reassessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
- Treat orthopedic, neurological, post-surgical, cardiopulmonary, and medically complex patients.
- Provide gait training, balance training, transfer training, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility interventions.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, case managers, OT, SLP, and other rehab professionals.
- Educate patients and caregivers on safe mobility, discharge planning, and home exercise programs.
- Complete timely documentation and progress reporting.
