Weekend and holiday rotation

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

BSN
Previous nursing experience

Role Overview

Provides direct patient care on the unit, including rounds, assessments, treatments, admissions, transfers, discharges, patient and family education, and care coordination
Performs comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments
Develops and implements patient care plans and interventions
Communicates changes in patient condition and collaborates with the care team
Delegates and oversees patient care tasks as appropriate
Supports discharge planning and unit quality improvement activities
