Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience required.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Acute care hospital experience required.
• Experience performing CT imaging in emergency and high-acuity environments preferred.
• Ability to perform CT procedures for adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations.
• Experience with cardiac CT and vascular imaging preferred.

Required Certifications & Licenses

• ARRT CT Certification required
• ARRT Radiography (R) Certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Active Maryland state license required
• Maryland or Compact license must be active and in hand at submission.

Preferred Qualifications

• Level II Trauma facility experience preferred.
• Siemens CT equipment experience preferred.
• Experience with Cerner and McKesson systems preferred.
• Experience with PACS documentation preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Operate Siemens CT scanners safely and efficiently.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and verify patient information.
• Administer and monitor contrast media following safety guidelines.
• Perform peripheral IV starts when required.
• Position patients appropriately and ensure optimal image quality.
• Complete image processing and documentation using PACS and McKesson.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after CT procedures.
• Follow radiation safety standards and infection prevention protocols.
• Assist with emergency and trauma imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain imaging equipment and report technical issues appropriately.

Additional Requirements

• Two supervisor references required.
• Must be willing to float within the hospital and within scope of practice.
• Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year.
• Tobacco-free facility; candidates must be nicotine-free.
• Positive nicotine screening may result in cancellation.
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate.
• No mileage radius restriction.
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with application.
• Current certification expiration dates must be included with submission.
• Compliance requires SSN, DOB, and RTO at submission.
