Position Details
- Position: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Location: Springfield, MA
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Extension Likely)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: 3x12-Hour Day Shifts
- Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Openings: 1
- Timekeeping System: Shiftwise
Requirements
- Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential
- Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist License
- BLS Certification required by start date (may be completed during onboarding)
- Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
- Travelers must reside 90+ miles from the facility
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver respiratory care and therapeutic treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
- Assess and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory interventions.
- Operate and monitor respiratory equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with facility standards.
