🔥 NIGHT-SHIFT CT / X-RAY TECH CONTRACT – COASTAL CALIFORNIA ACUTE CARE CENTER
First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel contract opening for a dual-skilled CT / X-Ray Technologist in Santa Cruz, California. Operating within an acute care hospital along the Northern California coast, this high-paying position offers a structured 4x10 overnight schedule (21:30 PM - 07:30 AM / 9:30 PM - 7:30 AM). If you are a licensed California Radiologic Technologist looking to secure a lucrative package exceeding $3,100/week with premium tax-free stipends, work across Siemens and GE scanner platforms, and cover both CT and diagnostic radiology, this contract is built for you!
💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE
- Weekly Gross: $3,109.00
- Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,833.00
- Hourly W2 Rate: $29.00/hr (32 regular hours)
- Daily Overtime Rate: $43.50/hr (8 daily OT hours included under California labor guidelines)
📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Night shifts, 4x10-Hours (21:30 PM - 07:30 AM / 9:30 PM - 7:30 AM). Block scheduling configurations are not available.
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 regular/OT hours guaranteed weekly.
- On-Call Requirements: Standby call rates apply at $7.00/hr ($108.00/hr call-back rate).
- Clinical Scope & Pacing: Averages 10–20 scans per shift supporting Emergency Room (ER) line, virtual colonography, gated procedures, and general diagnostic imaging. Radiologist coverage handled via NightHawk off-site reading during overnight hours.
- Equipment & Software: Siemens Sensation 64 and GE 16 LightSpeed scanners, Cerner EMR, and McKesson PACS.
- Floating Requirements: Floating within general Diagnostic Radiology as needed.
- Dress Code: Teal scrubs.
🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical CT and Diagnostic X-Ray Technologist experience is strictly required.
- Licensure & Credentials:
- Active State of California Radiologic Technology License (CRT).
- California Fluoroscopy Permit.
- ARRT (R) Radiography certification.
- ARRT (CT) post-primary Computed Tomography certification.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) provider card.
