Description
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a travel assignment supporting a busy outpatient imaging department. The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing a wide range of CT procedures, delivering high-quality patient care, and working effectively in a fast-paced imaging environment. This role operates under the supervision of senior imaging leadership and requires strong technical expertise with CT imaging equipment.
Schedule
Day Shift (12 Hours)
- Sunday: 7:00Pm- 7:30 AM
- Monday: 7:00Pm- 7:30 AM
- Tuesday: 7:00Pm- 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT examinations in accordance with department protocols and physician orders.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and image acquisition for optimal diagnostic quality.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures.
- Follow radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines.
- Document procedures and patient information accurately within the electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Inspect and maintain imaging equipment functionality and report operational concerns as needed.
Equipment & Technology
- Siemens Edge Plus CT Scanner
- Electronic Medical Records experience preferred
- Siemens CT experience preferred
Required Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or equivalent accredited educational program.
Certifications & Licensure
- ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Active Radiography License
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of CT imaging experience
- At least 1 completed travel assignment preferred
Ideal Candidate
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and patient care standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.
- Experience in a high-volume outpatient or imaging center environment preferred.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and patient safety.
