Job Title: Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse - Days (Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital - Albany, GA)

Job Description: Take on an exciting, high-acuity travel nursing assignment in the Emergency Department at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA! We are seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse for day shifts starting August 17, 2026. In this fast-paced trauma and stroke center seeing 180–200 visits a day, you will utilize your Meditech expertise and robust emergency skill set. Apply today!

Contract Details:

  • Start Date: August 17, 2026.
  • Schedule: Day shift contract | 36 guaranteed hours.
  • Location: Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital (Albany, GA).
  • Radius Rule: Strictly enforces a 75-mile radius rule (candidate driver's license address required at submittal).

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of RN experience, at least 1 prior travel contract, and mandatory Meditech EMR proficiency.
  • Licensure & Certifications: Active GA RN license; active BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ASLS/NIHSS, and CPI certifications.

Th recruiters are super nice and helpful.

Cons

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
