- Unit Details: T8 - Trauma, Ortho, Surgical unit (30 beds); high volume of transplants, whipples, spine, ortho joints, and trauma cases

Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience with Level 1 Trauma experience required
- Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS
- Distance Rule: 50-mile radius rule enforced (Driver's License required at submission as source of truth)
Assessments & Orientation Highlights
- Dysrhythmia Exam: Must pass prior to acceptance (2 attempts allowed; failing results in a 6-month DNU with Dignity Health Arizona and Sacramento Region).
- Day 1 Skills Lab: Mandatory pass/fail SIMs lab covering Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes.

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
