Description

Role: RN – Case Management

Schedule: 5×8-hour day shifts

Hours: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, weekdays

Weekend: 5–6 weekend shifts for a 16-week contract

Holidays: Must work 2 of the 3 winter holidays

Daily census: ~22 patients per RN

Patient population: Adults and geriatrics

Charting: Epic — mandatory

Hard requirements

Active Virginia or Compact RN license in hand at submission
At least 5 years of recent acute-care Case Management experience
Recent adult acute-care hospital experience with discharge planning
Utilization Review (UR) experience
Epic proficiency
Level I, II, or III acute-care hospital experience
Experience managing approximately 15–25 patients
Less than 6 months since the last acute-care Case Management role
BLS through American Heart Association
Previous travel experience is strongly preferred

Preferred certifications

CCM – Certified Case Manager
ACM – Accredited Case Manager
