Float Pool RN
Overview
- Specialty: RN Telemetry I
- Location: Salem, Massachusetts
- Employment type: LTA
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 36 hours per week; day/evening/night rotation with every other weekend
- Floating: Must be willing to float to 8 different units
Role Highlights
- Provides cardiac monitoring, cardiac drip management, and telemetry strip interpretation
- Floats throughout the hospital to Med/Surg Tele areas and related units
- Patient mix includes ED border patients, acute mental health medication patients, and transfer-ready non-vented ICU patients
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- 2 years of experience working as a Traveler
- 2 years or more of total travel experience
- Float experience within the last year
- Float experience
- TR Band experience

- Free on-site parking
- EPIC is used for charting
