Description
Nursing Director – Med/Surg and ICU Unit
Contract: 13 weeks | Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
We are seeking an experienced Nursing Director or Nurse Manager to lead inpatient nursing operations across Med/Surg and ICU.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee inpatient nursing operations.
- Ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Manage staffing, human resources, and financial resources.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
- Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulations.
- Maintain accountability for patient care and department operations.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- BSN required; MSN preferred.
- Current Maine RN or Compact RN license in good standing.
