Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night – 10:00 PM–8:00 AM
Shift Length: 9.5 hours + 30-minute unpaid meal break
Guaranteed Hours: 38 Hours/Week
On Call: No
 

Job Summary:
 

The Radiologic Technologist / CT Tech will perform CT and radiologic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, high-quality diagnostic images, and compliance with all applicable imaging and radiation-safety standards.
 

Facility Information:

• 349-bed acute care teaching hospital
• Level II Trauma Center
• CT department utilizing Siemens equipment 

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and diagnostic radiologic procedures according to physician orders and department protocols.
• Properly operate CT and related imaging equipment.
• Position and prepare patients appropriately for examinations.
• Ensure high-quality diagnostic images are obtained.
• Follow established radiation safety and patient care protocols.
• Administer IV contrast/injections according to applicable protocols and requirements.  
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow department procedures.
• Provide safe and compassionate patient care throughout imaging procedures. 

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience
• NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License – Required
• NYS IV/Injection Certification – Required
• BLS – Required
• Experience performing CT/radiologic imaging procedures
• Strong patient positioning and imaging skills
• Ability to work effectively in an acute care/teaching hospital environment 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Siemens CT equipment experience – Strongly Preferred 

Schedule:

• Night Shift
• 10:00 PM–8:00 AM
• 38 guaranteed hours/week
• No on call
• Contract: 10/12/2026–01/09/2027
