Position Summary

Provides safe, high-quality nursing care using the nursing process, physician orders, and established standards. Collaborates with physicians, patients, families, and the care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized, age-appropriate care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical, psychosocial, safety, and educational assessments.
• Develop and communicate interdisciplinary plans of care.
• Implement, evaluate, and update care plans based on patient progress.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Provide individualized patient and family education.
• Participate in unit initiatives, committees, orientation, and staff education.
• Provide age-appropriate care in accordance with organizational standards.
• Follow all policies, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and professional guidelines.
• Maintain a high standard of patient service and care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active Ohio or Compact RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of Obstetrics, Postpartum, and/or Labor & Delivery experience.
• Current BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications.
