Pediatric PACU RN
Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Madison, Wisconsin
- Night shift with flexible scheduling
- 36 hours per week
- 13–17 week assignment
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Pediatrics PACU - Post Anesthetic Care (2 years of experience)
- Pediatrics PACU - Post Anesthetic Care experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
- Experience with Epic
Schedule
- Evening/night shifts
- 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts
- Start times listed as 7:00 pm–7:30 am or 11:00 pm–7:30 am
- Monday through Friday or Sunday through Thursday
- No on-call
Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements
- Background check and Wisconsin caregiver screening
- E-Verify
- Employment application
- 2 clinical references within the last 3 years
- Skills checklist
- Physical exam
- TB screening and TB questionnaire
- Tdap documentation
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation or approved exemptions as applicable
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- Drug screening
- Photo for badge
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
- Pass/fail testing and competency requirements as applicable
