Histology Tech – MUSC Health Charleston, SC

Start: 10/19/2026 | 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM, Monday-Friday

Requirements:

5 years Histology experience
Epic Beaker experience
BLS
HT(ASCP)
IHC and Special Stains experience preferred
Occasional weekends and weekend call every 2 months
60-mile radius rule
No floating

RTO must be provided at submission.

Pros

Everyone was so helpful and nice when i started. beautiful hospital grounds with ample outdoor areas to hang out during breaks/lunch.Amazing cafeteria and always had at least 5 food trucks outside the hospital for linch. Friendly staff including doctors and great patients. patient to staff ratio was awesome and always had a great team mentality of helping everyone out when needed.

Cons

The only con of the area was cost of living especially rent. I rented downtown so I could walk to work but coworkers who lived off of the main downtown area on other islands complained of heavy traffic.
