Ardor Health Solutions is recruiting for an inpatient acute-care travel therapy contract at HCA Florida Mercy Hospital in Miami, Florida, through HealthTrust Workforce Solutions.
Position Overview
This is an inpatient acute-care hospital opportunity working with medically complex patients during hospitalization. The therapist will work as part of the interdisciplinary hospital team to improve functional abilities, maximize safety and help patients transition to the appropriate next level of care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients in an inpatient acute-care environment
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Address functional mobility and limitations
- Improve strength, balance and overall functional abilities
- Provide mobility and transfer training as appropriate
- Assess safety and equipment needs
- Provide patient and caregiver education
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing, case management and rehabilitation staff
- Participate in discharge planning
- Complete timely clinical documentation
