CT Technologist

Overview

• Location: Martinsburg, West Virginia
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in West Virginia
• CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ARRT (CT)
• Driver's License
• IV insertion skills

Assignment Details

• Radiology department
• Imaging areas include all areas for both adults and pediatrics; IR is adults only
• No weekends or holidays
• No call required
• Black scrubs required
• In-house radiologist coverage is 7 am to 7 pm, with on-call coverage from 7 pm to 7 am
• EPIC is used
• CT coverage includes 2 inpatient CT Techs and 1 outpatient CT Tech
• Floor orientation is generally up to 2 weeks, and can be longer for US/MRI
• Common work includes CT exams
• Friday through Sunday coverage is 8:30 am to 9 pm

Submission Notes

• Only one position may be submitted to at a time across the WVU system
• Driver’s license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility
• Previous permanent candidates must be gone for 2 years
• Previous travelers who were there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years
• Background hits must be disclosed at time of submission
• An unexpired copy of the candidate’s driver’s license must be included with all submissions
• Travel teams must be submitted together in one email
• Up to 2 candidates may be submitted per opening; if the position is at max, submissions will be held until a spot opens
