Technologist - Computed Tomography CT

Job Overview

Temp assignment in South Carolina, University Parkway Aiken
12 HR Day Shift
36 hours per week
Contract length: 38 weeks
Must live 50 miles away

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
CT Technologist experience within the last year
BLS
ARRT (CT)
Associate's degree or equivalent
Experience working with Trauma patients
Experience working with Stroke patients

Role Responsibilities

Operate Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment
Analyze body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors
Position the body correctly
Review physicians orders
Obtain pertinent clinical data to consistently produce high-quality radiographs and reduce unnecessary radiation to patients and self
Assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation, supplies, contrast reactions and codes
Schedule and complete exams and enter correct charge codes
