Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:30 PM–8:00 AM EST
On-Call: Required, including callbacks and holidays based on unit needs

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a contract opportunity in Rochester, NY. This role is ideal for a qualified imaging professional with Level I Trauma Center experience who can deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging while maintaining patient safety and exceptional patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and exam orders before initiating CT scans in accordance with department protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain scanning processes, and ensure their comfort.
• Perform IV insertion when required for imaging procedures.
• Position and assist patients safely, including those with limited mobility.
• Document procedures accurately in EPIC and ensure images are properly identified and transmitted to PACS.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized scanning environment.
• Follow radiation safety, infection control, and departmental quality standards.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification.
• Active New York State license, required before the start date.
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience.
• Level I Trauma Center experience.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA only).

Preferred Qualifications

• Injection certification, or willingness to complete certification during orientation.
• Experience with Philips and Siemens imaging equipment.
