CT Technologist

Overview

• Location: Martinsburg, West Virginia
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in West Virginia
• CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ARRT (CT)
• Driver's License
• IV insertion skills

Assignment Details

• Department: Radiology
• Radiation badge must be provided by the traveler’s agency; the facility will not provide it
• Imaging areas include all areas for both adults and pediatrics; IR is adults only
• The role may involve any CT exam
• Black scrubs are required for all techs in all modalities
• No call is required
• Travelers will not work weekends or holidays
• In-house radiologist coverage is 7 am - 7 pm, with on-call coverage 7 pm - 7 am
• IV start ability is required
• Floor-specific orientation is generally up to 2 weeks, and US/MRI can take longer

Preferred Qualifications

• CT certification is preferred

Additional Submission Notes

• Can only submit to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system
• Driver’s license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility
• Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years
• Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years
• Individual unit requirements listed in pulse apply
• Travel teams must be submitted together in 1 email
• Only 2 candidates may be submitted per opening
• Any background hits need to be disclosed at time of submission
