Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Charleston, South Carolina
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift, 3x12s: 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis
- Floating within scope may be required
Schedule Expectations
- Up to 2 weekend call shifts per 4-week scheduling period
- Must work at least one holiday period
- Block scheduling may be considered with manager approval and based on unit needs
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Work Setting
- Level I trauma center
- Teaching facility
- Magnet hospital
- Operating room with multiple surgical specialties
- RN staff are trained to both scrub and circulate
Additional Notes
- Parking permit required; registration fee applies
- Hurricane season may involve emergency response assignments
- EPIC is used for charting
