Overview

Travel/Contract role in Portland, Oregon
13-week assignment
Day/eve shifts with possible nights and/or call
Shift times may include 0530, 0900, 1100, 1300, 1500, and 1900
South PACU is a 38-bay Post-Anesthesia Care Unit providing 24/7 perianesthesia care to adult patients and some pediatric patients

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oregon
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Adult or Pediatric patients
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
ED - Emergency Department experience
Experience with Epic

Unit Details

South PACU supports ambulatory, acute care, and critical care patients
The unit is staffed 24/7 and uses call to support nights, weekends, and holidays

Traveler network account information form

Orientation / Training

RN Compass modules must be completed before start
Safe Vaccine Administration Module is required for all RNs except OR RNs
Vocera Badge Training is required for inpatient RNs
