IMC Registered Nurse

Overview

• Location: Columbia, South Carolina
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period
• Holiday requirement: Must work 2 of the 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Intermediate Care (2 years of experience)
• Intermediate Care experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Experience with Epic

Key Job Details

• Adult intermediate intensive care / intermediate medical step-down setting
• Patient ratio: 1:3
• Must be able to titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Staff may be required to float to other units or campuses as needed
• First-time travelers are accepted

Additional Notes

• Requests for time off, block scheduling, and special scheduling must be included with submission and are subject to facility approval
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• EPIC experience is required
• Pre-assignment testing and online orientation modules are required before start
