Position Overview

Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
Specialty: Emergency Department
Shift: Mid-shift (3:00 PM – 3:30 AM)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Shifts: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: None

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 32
Patient Ratios: 1:4 standard; higher ratio for low acuity patients
Patient Population: Medical, injured, and mental health patients across the lifespan
Equipment: Level I fluid warmer
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Epic

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Details

Dress Code: Navy scrubs; follow facility dress code guidelines
Onboarding: Completion of assigned education modules prior to first day required
Reporting Location: Hospital South Entrance (parking details provided upon hire)
