Job Overview

  • Location: Vicksburg, Mississippi
  • Employment type: Travel
  • Start: ASAP
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, with alternating weekends

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Mississippi
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NRP
  • Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from the facility

Role Summary

  • Provides Labor & Delivery nursing care across antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases
  • Uses the nursing process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
  • Responsible for shift accountability, clinical judgment, care planning, delegation, and supervision of assigned personnel
