Job Overview

Location: Vicksburg, Mississippi
Employment type: Travel
Start: ASAP
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, with alternating weekends

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Mississippi
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
NRP
Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from the facility

Role Summary

Provides Labor & Delivery nursing care across antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases
Uses the nursing process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
Responsible for shift accountability, clinical judgment, care planning, delegation, and supervision of assigned personnel
