Travel assignment in Chattanooga, Tennessee
36 hours per week
13-week contract
Will accept 48-hour guarantee

3West Cardiac
30 beds
Patient ratio: 6:1
Floating may include general M/S, Ortho, PCU (Progressive Care Unit), and M/S surgical with oncology

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS

Preferred Qualifications

Cardiac knowledge

Clinical Skills / Experience

Knowledge of Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone drips
Chest Tube management
Wound vac management
EKGs

Scheduling

Every other weekend equivalent: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule

Additional Notes

Meditech-HCA version documentation system
Telemetry rhythm strip documentation and charting each shift
Bedside rounding and hourly rounding with 5P’s
Unit uses Welch Allyn vitals neuron, Novameter glucose, GE Telemetry, Rover’s, WOW for all nurses, and PyxisES dispensing system
