Job info

Provide care for patients pre-op, and during Phase I and Phase II recovery after surgery.
Utilize advanced knowledge of anesthesiology and critical care skills to monitor incision sites, body temperature, and other indicators of patient stability or complications.
Work in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and Ambulatory Surgery Unit (ASU) settings.

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Hawaii.
Minimum 2 years of recent Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience, including experience within the last year.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Experience in Emergency Department (ED) and/or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings.

Shifts vary between 8, 10, and 12 hours.
Work hours may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
No guarantee of specific hours or shift preference.
On-call shifts required 0-3 times per month, including 8-hour night shifts and 24-hour weekend/holiday coverage.

Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health appointment on Friday.
Candidate must have an active Hawaii RN license by assignment start.
Contract length: approximately 13 weeks.
