Cath Lab Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work primarily in the cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology procedural areas, including pre- and post-care.
• Also work in the Interventional Radiology holding department.
• Schedule: Dayshift Monday through Friday (3x12 hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM) with rotating evening, night, weekend, and holiday call. Occasionally may work 5x8 shifts as needed.
• Patient population: Adult patients with a variety of disease processes.
• Required skills: IV start, circulating, telemetry monitoring, conscious sedation. Hemodynamic monitoring and PACS experience preferred.
• Use of Meditech EMR system.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (AHA only)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience circulating in the Cath Lab
• Experience with telemetry monitoring
• Experience with conscious sedation
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring

Additional Information

• Must work within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
• Facility requires strict adherence to documentation and credential verification including:

  • Primary source license verification (NURSYS for RNs).
  • Criminal background checks and federal exclusions screening (EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG).
  • Performance evaluations if previously employed by any agency.
• Badge photo required with specific guidelines (no hats, sunglasses, shadows, or altered images).
• Candidates must sign facility-specific confidentiality and job description documents.

Shift Details

• Shift: Day (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each)
• Hours per week: 36 hours
