Cath Lab Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job

Location: Beaufort, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work primarily in the cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology procedural areas, including pre- and post-care.
Also work in the Interventional Radiology holding department.
Schedule: Dayshift Monday through Friday (3x12 hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM) with rotating evening, night, weekend, and holiday call. Occasionally may work 5x8 shifts as needed.
Patient population: Adult patients with a variety of disease processes.
Required skills: IV start, circulating, telemetry monitoring, conscious sedation. Hemodynamic monitoring and PACS experience preferred.
Use of Meditech EMR system.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse license in South Carolina
Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (AHA only)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience circulating in procedural areas
Experience with telemetry monitoring
Experience with conscious sedation

Additional Information

Must work within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
Facility requires strict adherence to documentation and credential verification including:
- Primary source license verification (NURSYS for RNs).
- Criminal background checks and federal exclusions screening (EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG).
- Performance evaluations if previously employed by any agency.
Badge photo required with specific guidelines (no hats, sunglasses, shadows, or altered images).
Candidates must sign facility-specific confidentiality and job description documents.
