Cardiac cath lab
6 suites/labs
Average daily volume: 4–20 cases
Separate from IR and EP

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule and Call

4–9 hour shifts
6–8 call shifts per month
Weekend call every 6–7 weeks
Additional backup weekend shifts about once per month
Holiday call includes Easter backup call

Other Important Details

Local placements accepted within a 50-mile radius
Drug screen required
12 hours of non-billable orientation
2–3 shifts of unit-specific orientation
Scrubs provided
