Role: Rapid Response RN
Specialty/Unit: Labor and Delivery, Women’s Hospital
Location: Dallas, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Unit Size: 24 beds
Unit Setting: High risk obstetrical unit, labor and delivery
Shift: 7p-7a night shift
Hours per Week: 48
Contract Length: 6 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
AWHONN
NRP
Experience working with High Risk patients
Recovering high-acuity patients
Rapid Response experience

Preferred Qualifications

Intermediate AWONN fetal monitoring certificate

Unit Details

Building D, 9th floor
GE fetal monitors
Meditech, CPN documentation system
Procedures performed: vaginal deliveries, c/sections, d&c, post delivery recovery care
Floating: may float to antepartum unit within Women’s

Additional Notes

Experience in high risk OB is helpful
No RTO or special scheduling
Weekend schedule is rotating
Call requirements to be discussed during interview
